OP trapper Joined: Dec 2016 Posts: 32 Northern MN | Hello, I am looking for any advice and recipes for cooking beefiness heart and beefiness natural language, I also have a pork tongue and beef liver in the freezer. I have little feel cooking whatsoever of these other than frying with onions. |

Centre got boiled and so sliced and fried. Kidneys get boiled, changing the water 3 times, and so sliced and fried. Liver gets dredged in flour table salt and pepper. Cooked ontop the onions in a skillet full of onions. Onions should exist about done before liver slices are added. Slice liver thin and dont over cook it. three minutes a side is enough. Eye we pickle or fry like our venison, flour salt and pepper or flavor to taste. Liver I personally cannot stand so I give it away, or utilize as bait. But those I know fry liver with onions every bit described. |

trapper Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: one,067 ny | Can't help with tongue, only I make a heart stew the way my Bavarian grandma did, No real recipe, saute onion in pot, couple stalks of celery is good as well, but grandma never did, cutting up heart, quick brown with the onions, common salt, ,cover with h2o, add two glugs, (technical term), of white vinegar and simmer till tender , make a medium to darkish roux, stir in and ladle over egg noodles..... This makes a light sauerbraten mode stew, the roux is what elevates information technology. You could use broth instead of h2o , potatoes or annihilation else instead of noodles, I adopt a thick gravy, merely y'all can brand it thinner. Dredge in flower, brown n Dutch oven, deglaze oven with cheap wine, just a splash. Add all veggies n a onion of course. Put hat on oven, put in stove 350 for hour, hour n a half. Dandy dinner. trapper Joined: Jan 2019 Posts: 2,128 North key Iowa | We used to roast the middle, then the natural language gets skinned and pickled, for the pickle simply employ a basic pickle recipe, liver is sliced sparse and grilled, call up beef liver needs to be skinned where as pork doesn�t but the processor may have washed that. |
